Dickson & Tryer designs and fabricates custom skid mounted
natural gas glycol dehydration units. Unit sizes have ranged from 1 GPM up to 80
GPM. We
have furnished equipment to dehydrate streams up to 320 MMSCFD. Customers have included
utility companies, pipeline operators, major oil companies, and engineering contractors.
Units are currently operating at remote sites and in large gas processing facilities.
These units can be designed to operate with no electrical
requirements or can be designed with all the necessary controls for integration into a DCS
control system. While we have built several units for small single well installations, our
specialty is the large volume, high circulation rate modularized unit. Our design
incorporates many features to increase the unit efficiency while decreasing the reboiler
design heat duty.
Some high temperature gas streams require the
use of stripping gas and the emissions of this stripping gas is quite often not allowed
due to BTEX content. We have developed a closed loop emission control system for glycol
dehydration systems. This will allow for the use of stripping gas in areas that otherwise
might not allow it.
